Where are the parts?

WELL, if I get flamed, I get flamed.....
I've searched and researched, read and re-read several of the threads over and over.

It seems I am getting conflicting info. I've read, "Go with the SE -11 Cam Plate (Hybrid.) And I've read, "No, the 2007 plate is the one because it has no outer bearings, but you cannot use anything but Andrews "N" Series cams.

I've written Andrews, asking for a Cam Plate Conversion Kit and they have responded that they no longer sell a "kit." I have to order the parts through a HD dealer and then order the cams from them.

I've read about John at Herko...........I've been to the website, and it looks like Herko has had enough..........

I've been to e-bay to look for parts..........not easy to find what you need, when your not sure what you need...

I want to go hydraulic. I have a 2004 Electra Glide Ultra Classic FLHTCU/I. It is a T/C88 F.I. and it has 40,536 miles it. I pulled the cam cover and the tensioners are ready to pop. The main is over half way through (can't remember what I measured, but I have it written down, they are toast.) I could go another 1000 miles MAYBE????

I need to know what part #'s I need. I want the new cam plate that does NOT utilize the outer bearings, I want to use Andrews 26 grind cams.
What is the parts list from HD? I don't want to press in my cams, I don't want to use the new chain out front and the old one inside the cam chest.

I want the '07+ system with Andrews 26 cams.
Can anybody help me with the parts list???

You guys seem to know your stuff, I just cannot seem to find all the info I need in one (semi-one) spot or thread or post.

I appreciate those with the part knowledge and the time you spend helping me figure this out.
Not to take advantage of anything, but I am a disabled military vet.

Now, if I am an asshole for bringing that up.............so be it!! I've got to get my Hog back together for a trip to Safford, AZ in June. I leave June 06 and want to see my fellow warriors for a reunion......

There are three ways to skin the cat; two that use the SE billet plate and one that uses the OEM plate. The two billet plate options are shown below and you have elminated the 25284-11 option because you don't want outer bearings, don't want to press in cams and don't want new front chain and old inner chain.



You can go with 25282-11 if you want the billet plate; you would need to order the other parts to complete the conversion since this is an update to the OEM plate and if you were upgrading you would already have the tensioners, chains etc.

The third and cheaper option is to use the '07 and later OEM cam pate and pump. Andrews and Herko used to sell a kit but the MoCo stopped that. Below is the list of parts to make this conversion but you will need "conversion" cams; the TW26N. You can order the parts from an online discount dealer like Newcastle, Chicago H-D, Surdyke, etc. and save some $$$.



I would also suggest the service manual for your bike if you don't have one and that you upgrade the inner cam bearings as part of the conversion; Torrington B148s.

Did you bother to email or call him? He does more than just put kits together.

Dont use billet plate. Do use -06 up pump.
