TC88 Flywheel
I need some help identifying a flywheel. I have a TC88 flywheel brand new but I don't know if its stock or a SE. The part # is 23940-99B (Rods/ #24302-99 HD 3 CD #24305-99A HD 25 DL). Can anyone tell me what I have and how much its worth?

I think that's a stock early twin cam unit.

post a photo showing a couple good angles. worth depends on who wants it. I have seen low mileage units sell for 75-125. seems like if someone has to replace a crank they usually do an upgrade being they are in that deep already.

that explains zero bids. it would make a good wheelset for someone building a 4 inch stroke motor and wants to have it prepped to keep from havin down time. but really, its good for maybe $100 plus shipping. remember, most folks already have one!

Question. These engines are all balanced right? Is the balancer part of the crank? Or what makes them smooth running?

It's not a SE, it's a stock 88" (4" stroke) set.

where are you getting the number from? is it stamped on the crank or just on the box? many times numbers that are on parts are not the actual part numbers. should be able to measure the stroke.

i didnt mean to insult. heres one for ya, when i blew my 98 inch motor, for S&G i called and priced a stock crank for my 06 dyna. it was around 900. the SE was around 675! stock was over 200 higher! wuts up with that?
anyway, figure the price to true and weld, plus purchase price and i could have bought a serious crank. so i shipped mine and had it repaired for lots less.
what im saying is........not many need or want a 4" crank, because they already have one, but to have a spare to have serviced would keep downtime to minimal. BUT, once cases are split, most will go stroker for same $$$.
sincerely, good luck with your sale, someone may want it for an oversquare build.

Also you might pm hdmd88 and ask him to take a look at the photos of the crank. He knows these inside and out. He could probably tell you where to actually take the measurements as well.
