Will it fit?

I am thinking about putting a stock 103 engine in my 06 road king if it will fit. I assume engine mounting and trany hook up is the same but what about intake, throttle body etc... Any one that knows if this will work please let me know.

Since your stock 88 can be built into a 103 I would have to say yes but I am sure someone with a bit more knowledge will also chime in here

With enough money, an Hammer and blow torch anything is possible.

It is more a question of is it practical.

I think you would be money ahead selling the 06 and gettin' a 2007 -08. There are many available at fairly good prices, and you get a 6 speed along with it.

The engine is a 103a from an 08 police bike with only 600 miles before it was backed into. I can get it from the owner if he pays his insurance company a small fee. They are paying the bike off and they offered it to him for a fee. The truck that hit the bike ran over the back and front end but did not touch the engine.

08 engine WILL NOT fit into a 06 bike. Unless you install the trans and primary from that bike as well, even then i am still not sure. Build your own motor to the specs you want to. Will run better and be exactly what YOU want.
