engine knocks when cold
my 2002 roadking knocks when it is cold or after it sits for a hour or so after a long run, it has 41000 miles on it but it has new lifters, cam tentioners,cam bearings,oil pump,cam plate,and chains,it can knock for up to a minute before it goes away, once the bike warms up it is quiet,no noise, but it is a knocking noise not a ticking noise, i use amsoil 20/50 every 4000 miles and i use premium gas, any idea what can make this noise? or has anyone had this problem, dealer thought it was lifter bleed off,but they were wrong, two sets of new lifters and same noise, they say it is not a bearing cause it would make the noise more when it got hot, and like i said no noise when hot,any sugestions? bike is stock other than k&n filter and power commander, and slip on mufflers.
