Makuni Carbs

Im running a Makuni carb on my TC88 and i keep fouling out my plugs. In like 2 weeks or less. I have adjusted the carb several times but it doesnt seem to help much. On warm days it runs poerfect then when its cold out I have to run full choke for about 5 minutes to warm up the bike. Which still doesnt fix the problem when i roll to a stop light or stop and let off the throttle She will stall out. Anyone got good advice for working with a Makuni?

What's the jetting? How many turns to the Air/Idle mixture. You should find the settings of the carb. to start with, then go from there.

Two things, Five minutes on choke is way too long, Use the choke to start the bike, once the bike is running, use your throttle lock to idle the bike up temporarily, that enrichener is not meant to be used that long, And just like bagger sport set, find out your settings, bet its on the fat side,
