Welcome and I'm just going to give you my personal opinion. I'm assuming your engine is not running lean. I have oil coolers on my bikes(one's a stroker and the other is a stage 4) and they rarely go above 185 on the oil temp. I went cross-country with the stage 4(in august) and the oil ran 215 degrees thru the Mojave desert when the outside temp was 115+.
I'm using Jagg coolers, but I think the Harley coolers are Jagg.
The oil coolers were the fix for me.

you mat want to also check for intake leaks which will cause a lean condition and could be causing your problem.

Yep, 93 octane all the time. loneeagle964 hit upon what I had mentioned, that I assumed you weren't running lean at low rpms, for ANY reason. If your tune is OK, then you either have to cool the outside of the engine(fan?) or the inside of the engine(oil cooler). Just my 2cents.

You think a "colder" plug range would help here? Shorter insulator, so heat gets up and out of the plug quicker. Just thinkin'.

I have efi, so even though I'm running 11/1 compression, I don't run anything but stock plugs due to my ecms knock retard function which uses ion sensing thru the spark plugs and can affect the timing. Just my opinion, but if your absolutely sure that you have NO intake leaks, then I'd go to someone who has a dyno with load control(and knows what they're doing) and have them check your AFR at idle, low, middle, and high rpm. I would make sure that my bike was tuned correctly and not lean and if it still ran hot, put on the oil cooler. It's going to cost some bucks, but you should be able to get rid of your problem.

stock cams and timing are big culprits. BUT, city traffic for 20 miles is a bike killer.
first thing i would do is change routes to keep the motor moving. also, dont lug around, get the motor on the needle and main at times, the acellerator pump is your friend too . but, more cam overlap and better ignition tune will help a bunch.

Opening can of worms here... synthetic oil will drop the motor temp 10 degrees.

remember, true duals wont cure heat alone. actually they dont cure heat. its the motor and tune.

I agree also
So where would I start to tune the motor better I think I need to fatten it up. richer = cooler running.I am already running 48 slow an 195 main jets. Thanks bob

make sure you don't have an intake leak anywhere. that is plenty rich for a stage 1 bike.
