Connecting rod side play

Hi guys,

I would like to have our tech experts' opinion about my con rod side play issue. This subject was already touched in other post (Crankcase flooded with oil) but maybe was overlooked.
So, having my jugs off I noticed that connecting rods have side play which seems excessive for me. Clymer manual says that maximum side play is 0.020 in. I have already 0.020 on rear rod, and 0.035 on front one( this is clearance between two rods).
My question is should I be worried about this situation? Is my crank going to be overhauled in nearest future? BTW, up and down clearance is 0. Thanks in advance for all replies.

According to hd manual limit between flywheels is 0.020,replace connecting rods if more than that ,this is for 07 touring models TC 96.manufacturing tolerance is 0.015 so at 0.035 you would need to replace the rods, its allready apart I would replace them..
