This is something i do all the time on cars at work being a grease monkey. Take some carb clean spray it on a shop rag open the throttle all the way (engine off) obv. and wipe out and gunk in the throttle body and plate. You can spray it in to but dont go crazy. If there is no hole in the plate then when its fully closed air should go by a tiny gap on the edges of the plate. when they get gunked up the engine doesnt get enough air.

Welp, read this thread waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when hit wuz begun.

My '03 Ultra died on me the other out in the country, about 15 miles from home.

Re-started, rid to the next stop sign, dead w/a pissed off truck driver behind me.

Re-started (finally) and limped back to 'da dank' which wuz a treat with that D&D FatCat cracklin and no idle.

Sooooooooo, just pulled off the K&N (clean, not over-oiled) and shall follow this thread to see WTF is goin on with my doo-dad, p-i-n-t-l-e. (Hope I got that tecknuckle term right).
