Last fall I instatlled a SE sir filter upgrade, a set of touring mufflers (better air flow out) and a carb. jet needle from a 1200 sporty. This was in a magazine article be Joe Minton. It didn't increase acceleration or speed but did pick up a couple of miles per gallon milage. Has anyone else tryed this yet and what results did you get?

I don't believe the claims made in many magazine articles or by their writers, but Joe Minton does know what he talks about and if he recommends it, I have yet to find fault with his wisdom. Had an old FLHRP and did what you did. Worked well for a worn out bike.
