revtech 6 speed repair

I have a revtech 6 speed in my 2000 Road King. I started making noise and the clutch would not engage properly on a recent trip just outside of Dallas with the temp of 103.

I've never worked on a transmission before, but I'd like to repair this one. I removed the clutch cable cover and discovered the bearing to the rear had failed. I don't know what other damage is done, but I imagine those ball bearing went somewhere.

Does anyone know if there is a service manual and parts manual for a revtech?

Thanks; I had a baker before the revtech. They pissed me off. The baker went south on me due to no fault of the design or quality, but when I'll called baker they offered me no help.

Call RevTech. Depending on how long you have had the tranny, they might just send you a replacement. I am not a RevTech fan but have a cousin that builds custom bikes and he will only use RevTech engines and transmissions for that reason. Granted, you have to roll up your sleeves and get dirty but he has yet to pay anythign but shipping for RevTech stuff that has gone south.

Rev Tech 6 speed

I have had multiple problems with my rev tech 6 speed in my 06 FLHT. Had it taken out 3 times for different issues, all basically from inferior parts and build . Best bet is to step up and buy a Baker or S & S. Quote
if its good its not cheap, if its cheap it NOT good.
