2007 6 speed transmission

How many of the gears are helical cut in the 2007 6 speed Cruise Drive transmissions?

Whats the difference between a straight cut and helical cut gear (other then the cut)? Is one more efficient? Pros/cons? Does the SE 6-speed tranny for older bikes (e.g. '06 Softail) the same tranny as the '07's? Do they have the same noise issues that the f6f claims to quiet down? Thanks...
