Cluth Adjustment troubles

I need some help. Can't figure this one out. Replace inner, outer primary gaskets on girlfriends 01 RK last night. All wnet well, I've do this on several bikes b4. Adjusted clutch per manual. Could not get bike in gear. Decide to let it go till this morning. I've adjusted 3 or 4 times. Now bike goes into gear but does not come out when I pull in clutch. Any suggestions ? We want to get out on the road.

Chain was adjusted prior to clutch adjustment. I'm clueless to what the problem was. Basically I pulled primary cover, pulled compensator nut, clutch nut, pulled clutch basket, pulled plates, reassembled everything, adjusted clutch, filled with fluid buttoned cover up, passenger, rider floorboards. It was either fixed, or going to dealer. Started rode around the neighborhood and all appears to be fine. We'll clean our our bikes in the morning and ride.

I still don't understand it, this isn't my first rodeo.

I had the same issue. Just took awhile for the clutch plates to get unstuck after being off the bike.
