noise comes and go seems to be getting worse concidering removing the cover to inspect but not quite sure its not the generator bearing any suggestions on what to look for chian ajuster or somthing simple to verifie

What kind of noise, a knocking sound that comes and goes could be a loose compensator nut, which many times takes the center out of the rotor.
