24T Compensator sprocket

Put a 24T in place of the stock 25 tooth and had to adjust the primary up very high to get the proper sag. Just got back from a 3000 mile trip and cleaned up the bike and when I drove it into the garage noticed it was making a racket coming from the primary. Not sure if it is chain slap or my VPC Aim rubbing on the primary cover. I installed the VPC right before I left. Since I was in Canada I was wearing a helmet all the time and am wondering how long it has been making that racket. I will pull it open tomorrow and see. Do you think there is not enough clearance for the VPC it seemed like a pretty close fit on my 06 and I know they sell spacer covers.

To solve the primary problem, a baker DD6 shoe fits great with that 24 tooth setup. Its much fatter and doent need to get jacked up so high.

As for the Vpc, only way to check is pull the derby and look for rub spots.
