Primary Chain Master Link?

Recently installed a 24 tooth engine sprocket and am now concerned about how much I had to adjust the primary chain to get the proper slack. While I was in there I did not notice if the chain has a master link so I can remove a link, does anyone know or where can I buy a smaller primary chain. I think the stck one is 72 links.
