kickstart slipping ('65 4 speed)
I have been riding my chopper for over a year without any real problems. Now in the past month the kicker has been slipping on me. I get it up to the compression stroke and when I try to kick her, she gives out and the kicker drops like a brick. Tranny was rebuilt a year and a half ago.
-Took it apart and all looks fine, clutch gear and ratchet gear look perfect, teeth are fitting in just like they are supposed to. The kicker gear looks fine as well. So all I am thinking is to replace the spring behind the clutch gear.
