Mickeys Customs - Shifter Linkage Joint Advice

I'm looking to replace my H-D ball and socket shifter linkage joints with heim joints.

In a search, I found previous threads that mentioned good service when ordering from Mickeys Customs. One thread mentioned: www.mickeyscustoms.com

I'm not having any luck locating them on the web - still in business?

Any other thoughts on where to get these?

Thanks

Buy two CTF-FS. Use your shifter rod, a 5/16 x 20 bolt and a 5/16 locknut. I did this and it worked great.

He's still around, last forum activity was today. Try sending him a PM (Mickeys-Customs) or email at mikemc126@verizon.net.

I suggest you get these from midwest

STF-5 Rod End, Spherical, Female (Heim Joint) STF Sphcl Rod End, Female, Stainless, Teflon Race Stainless Steel 5/16-24

I have purchased the chrome ones and the quality is not that good.

With the stainess you can polish then up on a buffing wheel which will take a few minutes each and they look way better then the chrome ones.

Just my opinion

e-mail me if you have any questions mikemc126@verizon.net I will be glad to help

Done Deal!

Thanks for all your help - I just placed my order.

Shouldn't have to worry about a failure with these ever again.

Thanks again.
