Open Primary Question

Ok here's the deal. I have an '08 NT that the warranty is up June of 2010. When it expires I am looking to put an open primary on to it. Any suggestions on brand or width of the belt? How much should it cost to install it (hours of labor etc...)? Any experiences or advice shared would be greatly appreciated!

www.techcycle.com makes a great kit for your bike. Also, BDL makes a kit that looks to be nice. Havent installed one yet, but have a bike comign in over the winter for one.

Open belt drives are typically very reliable provided they are installed correctly and kept clean. Just keep in mind though, the kits take away the compensator assembly so the ride might be a bit "rougher" but thats your call.

Faast Ed is an unknown quantity at this point
Behind the front primary gear, absorbs some of the shock thru a ramp & spring type assembly.
