transmission pulley removal

im putting an andrews 30 tooth pulley on my 08 softail along with a 70 tooth rear pulley and want to know if theres any special tools or tricks to get the front pulley off.

main bearing puller and deep socket and a 1 1/4 see harley51 on ebay has great tools as well as georges garage one of the sponsers here.... inch and a quarter socket with a breaker bar thread are left handed on the maishaft and regular on the front sprocket

branch worked heads shaved .30
used titanium keepers on the heads too.

Crane Cam hydrolic adj p-rods 512 lift 322 duration

Mikuni smooth bore 4omm jetted/ float bowl ported out for heavy flow

2-1 White "E-pipe"

29 tooth Andrews pully

now im confused the manual says nothing about a main bearing puller.

I'm sorry right you are just the deep socket to pull the nut off the shaft and the 1 1/4 as you need to pull the clutch basket off and it comes off together with the chain and front sprocket Use a piece of plywood about 2 inch wide and about 4-5 inch long and loosen the adjusting shoe so you don't crack the nylon shoe with the prssure to loosen. slide the wood in between the teeth and chain to get the torque to loosen the red loctite and 165lbs of torque on that front nut. (regular thread) then loosen the clutch hub (reverse thread) and slide the two off as an assembly. They say a puller is not necessary to get the clutch hub off but I use one as I find they get sticky even though they are splined. (you will see) Change all the seals while you are there. jack shaft, quad seal, you got the inner off so change the shifter seal too as you can access that when the inner is off---You know you are almost there your choice.

so i dont need to pull the mainshaft bearing? it will come off with the clutch assembly
