Andrews 30 tooth pulley

Just installed an Andrews 30 tooth trans pulley on my 07 FXDC and was able to use the stock belt - still have about 1/2" adjustment left. I was worried it might lower gearing too much, but I find the ratios are just about perfect now. Don't understand why dynas arn't geared this way from the factory - I could see touring bikes but not the dynas

I still have my 6th gear light- thought I heard some people were losing it with a gearing change.

Anybody know how to recalibrate the spedo?

S&S speedometer calibration unit.
It goes in line and can adjust the output to the correct the speed error.
I have one on the way for my bike, the amount your off is 6%.

(Edit)
Well, hold the phone on this suggestion. It seems after I ordered mine, i find out that Harley changed the plugs on all 6 spped models, and this unit does not just plug into it.
I am not sure it will even work with it, and S&S does not make one to the 6 speed at this time.

Hey Jeff, this is the first time that I have noticed you having the 30 tooth pulley, what are your comments on this for a bagger, were you able to use the stock belt? I have been thinking about it my self.

Hi.

I like the way it rung around town. I live in the city that is between two mountain ranges, so easy take offs sure make life easier.
this bike takes off as easy as my old 2006 5 speed model did, and it still quite ride able at freeway speeds.

I really like it.

As to the belt, no I needed a 2 tooth shorter belt.
