GONE.... Some rules are silly, but they are rules....

Had some people complain they weren't "Metal" but I don't think the RoadKing emblems are either...

Minor Changes

After trying both the 4'' (stock) and 6 1/2'' Harley wind deflector, I wound up going with an after market 3'' chrome wind deflector. I'm 6'3'' and the 4'' would have my glasses shaking around 55mph, and the 6 1/2'' put the air stream right under the brim of my helmet which caused even worse buffeting at speed.
Didn't want to go any higher - I prefer the chopped look and do not like looking through a windshield, so I went in the opposite direction with an 3'' aftermarket wind defector and it worked out great! No more buffeting, and quite nice even at speed - Figured I share that, know quite a few SG owners have had the same issue.
On another note, I've got a Corbin saddle with a backrest. Great seat and the backrest is really comfortable, especially because I'm tall. However, I can't help but think the bike would look better without it. What do you guys think?

Here's my '06, it has a few things on it. I really love the Rinehart 2-1 the best with the Terminal Velocity fuel management system.

New Kuryakyn curved license plate bracket.
Can you please tell what you used for the license plate frame? I get seem to get the bottom bolts in on the one I have. Are you using the "slider" type holder that comes on the bike stock? Mine looks terrible...........any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Karl

I just noticed I have 2 different frames in the pics. The top one is the stock SG plate holder with a chrome frame. The bottom one which is much nicer is the new Kuryakyn curved plate holder. http://www.kuryakyn.com/products.asp?bn=harley&ci=3727

SG Air Temp Guage Exchange With Oil Temp Guage

I am sure one or more of you out there have changed out the worthless Air temp Guage for a more useful Oil Temp Guage. How hard is it to do and is it worth it? Is the guage useful and is it accurate? Will it just scare the heck out of me or it it a worthwhile endeaver? Thank you in advance foe all help and opinions.

Someone once posted that there was a relocating kit for the air sensor that made it more useful? But I don’t remember who made it????????? (not that this helps your question!)
