Hey Blue Glider,
I think us Canadians love our Harleys just as much as our fellow Americans. We are having daily temps of around 50 to 65 right now, but it does get much cooler at night say about 35 to 40. Fall is my favorite time of the year to ride and I have been thinking of getting some heated clothing to extend my riding season. We will probably see some snow in about 3 to 4 weeks. I rode about 300 miles last weekend and will probably do about the same this weekend then she goes away for the winter and gets a 1550 upgrade.
Cheers

BIGCC, that 1550 upgrade is going to be awesome. Enjoy. I'd love to do the same , but I need to tone down the spending for a while (Christmas is coming on fast). It's going to be 75 and sunny here this weekend. Can't beat that with a stick!

With a router mounted in a table and a belt sander you can lower it to be just right for you. I like to be able to see over the top to about 50' ahead
while seated comfortably.
Use another windshield to trace a line on it and carefully use the router to cut it down to the line. Use the belt sander to smooth down the edge and it looks like a factory made one.

Another one from Utah! Why didn't I know you when I lived up there?
Was in South Weber from Nov '02 until may of this year.

Yoda's ride is very nice He graciously let me visit his home to show me how he's got his detachable tour pack rigged...long story short; it worked great on mine!
Thanks again Yoda

Hey Yoda,
Damn that is nice slicked down.... tops the "new" street glide any day and twice on Sunday! Is that a Corbin Solo? If so, does it seat you about the same or did it slide you a little farther back (I'm looking for a little more leg room over stock if I get a solo)?
I love that look, but I have gotten so spoiled with the tour pak now, putting my helmet, jacket and crap in it..... not to mention a case of beer, a couple fifths of booze and a bag of ice in there enroute to a party!

Hey Bedemonster, good to hear you're still alive and kickin'. Post some pics of that ride of yours if you get a chance, love to see it. You still riding? I've been riding every day to work except today 'cause it's 30 something and pouring rain! I guess it's getting that time of year. I'll keep riding until there's snow on the ground, and by the look of things that won't be too far off.

Allen, the seat is a Corbin Solo, actually since I'm only 5'8" I ordered the 'Close Solo' which sits me about 1"+ closer. If you want to be set back a bit then the standard solo would probably work fine. It's a great saddle!
