Bill,
Thanks for the reply and you are correct. I found out today from H-D that the CARB bikes have no change. However, like you stated the EFI bikes have a change in the t-body and the 05 parts will not fit.

Longest ride?
What is the longest ride any of you have ridden in a 24hr period??
Mine was 370 miles from Madison Al to Abington, VA. Of course I made a lot of stops and did a lot of site seeing.

I did an Ironbutt a couple of months ago. After riding out to meet the guys I was doing it with and then riding back home my total mileage was something like 1200.
Oh yeah, I was back on the bike the next day for a local jaunt. I love these bikes.

I rode 998 mile from Phoenix AZ to Fort Hood Texas. But I guess it was a little more than 24 hours. 18 hours on the road, stop for a nap and then off again. Currently have 5000 miles on the OD. Oh yea I have an 04 standard I bought while in Iraq. $15796 loaded

Last Saturday 2 friends and I did 1550 miles in a little under 23 hours, 2 ultras and a Road Glide. But endurance riding is what we do.

wind shield
Someone posted a web address for an aftermarket wind shield and the company is in Nevada. Does this jog anybody's memory. The really bad part is: I ordered 2 wind shields from this company but I deleted out all of my sent mail and cant remember their name.

Hey BigCC,
There sure seems to be a lot of Canadians on this site. I don't mean to say that's a bad thing...just an observation. Isn't your riding season pretty much over at this point? I thought it started snowing in September up there. We are still getting days with temps between 70 and 80 (it can be pretty f***ing cold in the mornings though). I LOVE fall around here. It'll be a month before it starts getting too cold to ride comfortably every day.

Went from Sioux Falls SD to just south of St. Louis (home) in 10 or so hours. About 750 miles I think. This was after doing about 120 into Sioux Falls early in the morning, bros charging system went **** up and we stopped to have it fixed at the HD shop. We left around lunch and were at my house around 2230. Yeah, we were moving! He was on a wide glide with no windshield too! He left my house the next day and continued on the FL.
I gues the short answer would have been 850-900!
