HD Wrist Pin Circlip Tool

Some old posts on this topic but not much current... I purchased one of the Kent-Moore GM tools (EN-46745) off ebay. Almost identical to H-D tool (HD-42317-A) but the tip that inserts into the wrist pin is too small, very loose fit. Can someone who has the HD tool measure and tell me the OD of the tip of the tool (portion that inserts into the wrist pin). I can get a tip made for my tool. Thanks in advance.

If you can make another tip, just measure the ID of a wrist pin and set up for a slip fit. FYI, when I went from cast flat tops to forged hi-comp pistons (both SE), the stock tool would not work as the wrist pin dimensions were different.

Finally got to the point of taking out the stock flat tops - tool worked fine. The wrist pin ID on my forged pistons was different too, but the problem lies more in the shape of the pick lock notch (or whatever you call the notch where you pry the clip out) - the tool doesn't fit in properly to grab the clip. Will install with the finger/plastic push pin method I guess.
