nice bike wango! I like how the tank looks but would want to have a smooth rear fender to match the rest of the bike. Either way, It still looks good!

Another one if you compare you can see the ghost flames in the tank. Except the damn sun made it hard to take.

2000 883/1200 Custom

2000 Sportster 1200 Custom
Black/Chrome/LOUD!! (700 miles on this top end - 8000 total miles)
Ross forged 10:1 racing pistons
SE intake
Bassani Pro-Street exhaust (the BEST pipes - IMO)
Carb jets - 190 main/45 pilot
More details below the pics!

Accessories/Custom parts
Of course all the XL Custom stuff - riser covers, bottom mount teardrop headlight (w/ frenched extension), etc... are still installed.
Forward controls
Diamond grips, rider pegs, passenger pegs, shifter peg
Diamond mirrors
Diamondback solo seat (w/ diamond chrome tail section)
HD Bar/shield tank emblems
10" rise ape bars (very easy to switch to drag bars if you'd like)
16" Solid disk rear wheel (with NEW tire)
21" Spoked front wheel
Chrome battery cover
Chrome ignition cover
Chrome switch housings
Detachable Sissy bar/rails/pad (used ONCE)
New rear brakes
Throw over saddlebags (used ONCE)
Stock 1200 Custom two-up seat
Oil changed every 2000 miles

I know I am forgetting some things, but those are the basics. This new top end is barely broken in. I am about to change the oil (for the 3rd time) since rebuilding with the performance mods. I am meticulous with my maintenance and have performed all mods/maintenance myself with the assistance of a 25 yr veteran HD mechanic...it is nice to have on in the family! This thing runs like an ass-raped ape...watch out Big Twins...this is one bad Sportster.

First $8000 takes it. Pics upon request. Located in Houston Texas.
No bullshitters...no dreamers. You want a cool bike...drop me an email.

Misguided,

I was taking a look at this thread and saw your sporty at the top. That has to be the coolest looking sportster I have EVER seen!!! I just bought the 2003 883c and would love to get it to look that good! Could you give me some details on who did the job and what it would cost me to get it done.

The tank looks great and I really like the drag bars with the pull back risers. I was looking into just putting on bars with the pull back risers but was told by the dealer that I couldnt because all of the wiring goes into the bars. Thanks for any info that you can provide.

all the wiring is in the riser, not the bars. I had to add about 10" into my wiring harness to move all the crap from inside the riser to under the tank, alot of work and alot of soldering . I did all the work on my bike and have put over 5K into it

Mentally I could hear them all doing the Tim Allen "oh oh OH". As the rider left he blew a yellow light at full throttle in 2nd gear. The waves of V-twin ear cand
