2002 sporty

I`m trying to adjust the clutch on a 2002 sporty with no luck.adjust it to specs and when it goes into 1st it it grabs and creeps fowrd cant get it back into neutral until i shut the bike off any suggestions i need help thanks...

RattFXR is on a distinguished road
slack cable, open primary cover, seat adjuster screw plus a quarter turn. Put all that back together, adjust cable till a 1/16"-1/8" is between lever and perch. That should be about right. If that doesn't make it shift correctly and sit still, then give the screw another quarter turn. Read the tranny primary forum, there is a current thread.
