sportster head swap

A local accessory dealer was telling me the other day that you can unbolt a set of heads off a sportster and bolt them right on a 1340 and vice versa and everything will line up and function. Is this thru ? does this also apply for a twin cam? i have my doubts i need to be set straight, thanks.

response

I kinda feel stupid for asking this question even though i knew the answer i needed to be confirmed from someone else. I have worked on several twin cams and evos but never any sportsters. As for the dealer as stated they are a v-twin accessory dealer and not a harley davidson dealer, i will not name their shop out of respect for the owners.
