sporty upgrade
in 72, when the sporty was upgraded from 55 in, to 61 in, was this a bolt on for earlier models??? was it bore only , or stroke, or both, and is machine work required???

Dan I think it was bore+stroke. They even had to redo the engine cases, because the juggs slide down into them.

K model had 2.75 bore.
57-71 3 inch bore.
72-85 3.148 bore.
all had same stroke 3.8125.
If you want more power stroke it!
