2006 XL1200 Motor Build Need Help!!!!

First off let me say that this is the best source for info on HD's

I have already bought the Screaming Eagle Heads P/N-16677-05 and the pushrods for them that work P/N-18424-06 and there on.

I am now wanting to add the Sceraming Eagle Pistons-P/N-22711-04A along with the ,roller rockers-P/N 17378-98,42 flatside Mukuni P/N 27454-01A,S/E Cams-551 P/N 25197-04 and the other odds and ends....

My questions is will I be fine with PUMP FUEL with a octane of 91( when doing the Pistons with Heads make the Compression 11.3:1) AND (WITHOUT PISTONS IT IS 10.5:1) and not have to run race fuel or additives?

1st of all, sell those heads, they are no different then what u already have, except they r shaved .050 to raise the compression... have a known place port your heads, use the SE pistons, and either the SE497 cam, or SE536 cam... the carb isn't necesarry at under 100hp, but it does give better throttle response and better adjustability for tuning... see HERE, and HERE for more info...
