96 cu barrels and pistons on an 883R

I have an 07 883R (injected) and also a spare set of barrels and pistons off my 07 Road King (upgraded to 103cu). Is it possible to fit the 96cu bits to an 883?

The coolant passages won't line up and it will leak.

even if you could use them, the 1200's pistons are 3.5in where the 96" pistons are 3.75in. The 1200 stroke is 3.8, to the 96's stroke of 4.385. They difference would not be worth the work, there are kits to go stroked and big bore on sportsters, just google S&S
