Jetting after 883 to 1200 conversion

I just put a conversion kit on the wife 97 sportster along with a set of andrews N4 cams. I have the stock carb for now (no money to buy S&S) and was wondering what if any jet changes I would need to make.

To start, you should check the part numbers for the needle and jets. At the least, you should jet the stock carb to the 1200 specs. Then adjust from there. Should be no need for a "jet kit".

If I recall you should change the slow jet from a 42 to a 45. I believe the main should be somewhere between a 180 to 200. I would check out the sportster section and see if anyone did it latley.

Bean, you guys coming to Cincy for the V-Twin show?

Check to see if the 1200 ignition module is different.....if it is, use it.
