H.O.G. Rally

A big H.O.G. rally is being planned for the first week of May in Tucson, AZ.
Sounds like it might become a yearly event.
I live here so ...I'm going.

GrayRider will become famous soon enough
A friend and his wife recently moved to Tucson. They both ride and love the area. It's on my list of places to visit.

Typically the Arizona HOG rally is always at Williams in June. What HOG event are you referencing?

Looks to me like someone pulled rank and moved it from Williams to Tucson. I'm OK with that. Southern Arizona is some great riding, cools digs and great places to have a really fantastic time!

The state rally has been in Williams for several years now. I think moving to Tucson is a good idea. It gives everybody new places to ride.

Any good places to camp in the Tuscon area that are kind of primative and private?

I'm not much of a camper, but you might check on the internet. There's lots of national, state and local parks that allow camping.

Hi all.

I will bring it up at my next HOG meeting, but I don't think many will go.

It's 3000 miles round trip for my club, and May in the Northwest is, well unpredictable at best.
There are a alot of mountain passes that still could be getting snowed on, not to forget it does like to rain up here.

It does sound like fun though.

Gilbert Ray Campground (520-883-4200), Kinney Rd in the Tucson Mountain Park area, about 1/2 mile from Old Tucson Studios.

I do not know if they have a web site.

regards
