Open invitation to Toys For Tots event 11/24

Next Saturday, Nov 24, 2012, American Legion Post 35 in Chandler, AZ is sponsoring our 6th. annual Toys for Tots run and party. I am inviting all my Forum friends and, yes, even the Liberal ones , to come and join in. Here is the link for info: http://azalr35.org/toysfortots2012 We are expecting upwards of 400 bikes. There'll be a 100 mile poker run, pins, food, a great band, and it has always been a really good time. Sorry to tell you that the weather here will be colder than we're used to. High of 81 and zero percent chance of rain. Hope to meet some of you there.

I volunteered for that for years when I lived in NY, it is a very worthwhile charity.
Spent a lot of time delivering, we also linked up with the Elks and delivered their Holiday meals to the families at the same time.
Used to get a little expensive for me, because my wife would see kids at these deliveries that did not have proper winter jackets or boots and she would buy them herself and make me go with her to deliver them.
