Bikes Blues & BBQ - Fayetteville, AR

Surprised there's no mention of BBBQ here. 100,000 bikes & over 400,000 people.

http://www.bikesbluesandbbq.org/

You gotta come.

I went last year. It was a good time, and NW Arkansas provides great riding. I've got 10 rooms reserved right now, and I'm on the waiting list for 4 more.

We are thinking of riding up but can't make reservations 'till last minute as I'm still going through shoulder surgery rehab. Can anyone give me some advice on finding last minute lodging (hotel preferred, camping acceptable) for this rally? Any other tips, recommendations for first timers also appreciated.

Check with Embassy Suites in Lowell (14 miles to Fayetteville). A friend of mine booked there, and I believe that they still had rooms available, as of last week.

Hey Clay, we should catch up and swap stories (and maybe a beer or 3).....one re-located coonass to another.

that sounds fun. i know a bunch of coonasses that will be there. we will be at ouchita state park for the fun, riding up to fayetteville for the mingling. already got the cabin secured, may not even make the fest, depending on how many coonasses wanna hang at the cabin. some bandits and grey ghost will be around, if you have lost friends to try and hook up with. rusty , that used to own coyotes in s'port will be there as well as others.

still wonderin, if i leave the cabin, ride to the blues fest, can i pitch a sleeping bag on the side of the big hill? or has all that changed?

Coonasses are fun people. We like to eat good food and drink beer. How can one go wrong with those activities?

"If it smells like fish then she's your dish; if it smells like cologne then leave it alone."
or something like that

It's sad, I live 30 minutes from BB&BBQ and stay as far away as I can. Not much for crowds I guess.

Enjoy.
