I also live in the area. Went once...won't go again until they come up with some kind of single day passes.

Been a few times myself. The rally is a little on the raunchy side, especially late at nite. If you don't mind that, it can be a lot of fun. Personally, to crowed for me. Usually i go to 6th st. It can be more fun.

I only go to rallys that are at least a three day ride away. I just like riding.

It's overrated now...Used to be one of the good ones, now it's nothing to write home about.

We used to go every year but didn't go last year due to lack of single day passes and we only had one day that we could have gone. Definitely a big party but I like the Lone Star Rally in Galveston more. No admission fees and the local merchants down there could really use our support this year.

I am going this year missed last year did not have a bike after a crash in march of 08 but have one again so headed down on the 10th and not comming home until the 14th.

Live in the area doing the parade and Congress for the Knievel jump but that's it. This ticket prices are crazy. Friday night only.

think im gonna pass this year. too much going on in my personal life. maybe next year. i will be at the Lone Star Rally though.

Last ROT was '06 for me and had a decent experience...especially down on 6th Street.
The traffic is horrible, and the heat, my Gawd the heat. That's coming from a Texan - born and bred.

When the ROT organizers decided to up the admission, I decided to boycott.

Missed my favorite LSR in Galveston last year for the 1st time in about 5 years...and it wasn't Hurricane Ike, it was the rescheduling to December. D@mned job interfered with my fun.
