April 3,4,5 Thunder Run is back better than ever.To raise money for MS Bridge and Downed Bikers. This event gets bigger and better every year. Register to win a Big Dog Motorcycle And Trailer. Tickets only $10.00. Last year we had aprox. 25,000 bikes and this year looks bigger yet.
Located at Thunder Roadhouse 900 W Memorial in Oklahoma City. Plenty of music, food, cold beer, etc... Hope to see you there !!

Mind if a coupla Texans show up? That sounds like a really worthwhile and fun event. BTW, my wife has MS; fortunately it's the benign form.

Man, you guys are terrific. That'd be very cool to ride along with "Ya'll".

I'll send you a PM the week before, with my contact info and where we're staying. I've made our Saturday night reservations to be conveniently located to the events.

If ya know what I mean.

Or if you recommend, I can alter them to arrive Friday night; was just trying to save a little money by one night only.

Are you & Bam la bam riding the Poker Run? I been considering the Downed Riders pre-registration.

No worries about my missus, she's cool with her condition. We even laugh about some of the funnier flare-ups (like the time she sounded like Elmer Fudd for 3 days).
The more she's around people and things that keep her mind occupied, the less likely she is to have probs.

It'll be a good time. Our "group" consists of all walks of life....mostly HD products, but some others. We usually ride every Sunday. We meet at Thunder Roadhouse (home of the Thunder Run). Some days, we have 6 bikes, some days we have 24. Just depends on who shows up. You don't have to change your plans- just make it here early enough on Saturday...we'll have a great time. I'll be out of town on business the week before the run, but I'll be back on Thursday night. Where are you staying?

We're staying at the Best Western on Memorial a 1/4 of a mile from Thunder Cycles and I can walk that far if this happens

I'll give you both my cellphone# by PM before we roll out...the Thursday before if you like. I don't wanna miss out on ridin' & hangin' with some V-T-F members. I'm sure it'll be a great time.

I've been on the phone with the missus in Germany this morning, and she's really looking forward to the rally. She's over there right now visiting her mom, and taking care of a Florida real estate transaction that we inherited from my father-in-law. She's psyched to come back home.

I really appreciate the warm welcome and can't wait to get to OKC next weekend. Shoonu (Susan) will prolly need some corruptin' after 3 weeks with her momz in Frankfurt. I have some plans of my own in that department

!

She's flying back this sunday right smack in the middle of Rick Fairless' Spring Fling party at Stroker's Icehouse in Dallas. Oh well, this weekend's weather all around Texoma is supposed to be sucky!

Are you planning on riding in the Downed Biker's Poker Run during TC V???

Alrighty then.. Looks like Beau and Myself are in on the poker run. I'm not sure if My better half will be joining us... She might do some volunteer work. Either way were there. Looking forward to it. Be safe

Bam & Beau,

Giving you notice that unfortunately we'll be.......................

Arriving a day early.

We're checking in at the hotel Friday afternoon so we can check out the events early on Saturday.

We will probably be looking for something to eat and do (not necessarily in that order) on Friday night, any recommendations?

The only bummer so far is the stoopid wind; so we're gonna bring the trailer...please forgive me

I just don't wanna lose her off the back of the bike on the way up the interstate.

Look for my PM tonite. We're looking forward to a good time, and she really needs that!

I got back into town at 2pm today, and met Bam for a few beers. We were chatting about you....hadn't heard anything yet, so it was good to hear that you're still coming. I'll be looking forward to your #......I'm not yet sure about my plans for Friday evening, but I'm definitely in for the rest of the weekend. If I can get a hall pass, I'll be around Friday night. Have a safe trip (even if it is on a trailer), and I'll catch up to you this weekend.
