I wanna ride THIS weekend

The past 5 days have been a comedy of errors. During the 2 hour drive Friday to DFW, my upper back started acting up. Probably just the old whiplash injury sustained in an ambulance accident in Arlington, Texas 30 years ago. Aggravated and inflammated(?).

Saturday, the missus flew to Germany for 3 weeks (I'll bet her arms are tired!), and after the airport run I went tire shopping for my Night Train. Still undecided about the Metzelers vs. Michelins vs. Pirellis. But, that's another thread entirely.
Came back in the afternoon to Witcheeta Flats to see some musical friends play at the Ironhorse Pub. After the shower, my back was no better, so I laid down to let the meds take effect.
Woke up at 1:39 am. So much for listening to my friends and their live loud rock & roll.

Sunday, my back was right as rain and I started cleaning the house after Mrs. Cyclone left the area. The weather was bee-you-tiful. Shoulda gone riding, but, I had chores to do; might as well go clean the concrete pond. finiished that too and decided to watch the last 75 laps of Sprint Cup at AMS. Damned Busches.
Did I mention that I shoulda gone riding?

Weather was decent the first 2 days this week, so I rode to work; then the weather turned to scheiße Tuesday night (thanks Midwestern plains!!!).
My bike's black parts are now a dirty red from all of the blowing dust the last 2 weeks, but now it's too dammed cold to wash it.

Been cooped up now for a coupla days with no one to talk to but the dog. She's sweet and all, just not much on conversation.
I know-go figure.

Do I really miss my wife this much, or, has masterbayshun lost its thrill?

In desperation, I signed up for a free MSF refresher this Saturday and the weather's supposed to get nice again Sunday. I'm gonna get my rumble on.

SEE YA'LL IN THE WIND!

Sam Sam, you should really post a pic of your ride in here somewhere...mine's in the Public Profile. That way I'll know who to look for. You & I have probably been in the same place at the same time, and yet, have never known each other.

The MPEC/Eddie Hill's event sounds like it might be worth the price of admission - free. So, I'll see ya there unless it's raining.

Don't mind cold too much, nor the wind around here, nor the rain at 70*+ Fahrenheit. I can't stand all at the same time.

You'll recognize my Night Train or if you see a bada$$ ( )
bald guy w/an earring wearing a full black leather jacket
w/a -Scrubs- patch on the t!t then you've found me.

Yup, I saw the e-mail @ work about the weather postpone to April 11th. I'll prolly still go since it's an excuse to get outta the house and congregate w/other riders.
Maybe, we can go get a beer afterwards if the OL doesn't gimme that look

Sam Sam the Mex: Where's the pic???

See the little paper clip?

Sam Sam, nice looking fam.

Thanks for the Gallery Linkage. I didn't realize you had an album.
I have one but it's a bit goofed up right now.

BTW, The paper clip is useful for attachments.

It's in the uppermost posting toolbar will let you attach thumbnails of your photos from hard drive or other media device.
I don't believe you'll be able to see 'em in the post though, w/o paying membership.

Do you have a photobucket account? Using that or Flickr you can copy the Image [IMG] post full page thread photo spreads using the lowermost posting toolbar that looks like a little portait of a mountain range.

Nah,

The old saying about Tx and getting there as fast as I could applies to me. Still havin' "culture shock" after being here for a couple of years.
C&S forum and a smattering of wunderlust for the rest.. Big thing is the bike. don't know how much longer big trips are gonna work...back and sciatic probs...but as I creep into Oldzheimers, everyday is a new beginning!

Well, here I go again

It has been since late April since I've been in the saddle due to reasons outlined in the Rider Safety threads.

But after tomorrow, look out. I'll be haunting all the old familiar places & faces. See ya out there.
