I'm spending my honeymoon here outside Durango. We went to the Mesa Verde ruins yesterday, went on the Silverton train ride, did the loop with the farthest North being Ridgeway. Incredible views and things to see here. Total days here will be nine days. Would Colorado like a transplant from Arizona?
Yeah, my brother lives just outside of Durango. He retired there after spending most of his life in California. He loves it. He has had a couple of close calls with forest fires, but other than that he says it's a beautiful place to live.
Colorado is a great place to live/ride.
Did you catch the early part of Ignacio bike week?
I'm heading down that way tomorrow for the four corners rally.
Looks to be the typical late afternoon rain in the mountains again this year, I hope I make it down in time this year.
