Yuma, AZ??

Currently in Yuma, AZ for a construction project, probably for atleast the next year if not more, since we keep getting more work at the local hospital.

I'm wanting to buy a bike to begin riding, but i've not ridden before. Was wondering if any of you riders lived in the area that might be able to help with teaching me to ride?

I plan to take the rider's course to get my license before I actually buy a bike but wanted to leaarn a bit if possible before taking the course, so i'd be more familiar with a bike and how it works.

If anyone is near here and ahs some free time, I'd relaly appreciate it. Thanks.

AZDragger how's the riding going?

I hope you're still with it & putting the sidestand up as much as possible. How's the riding out there? BTW, your photos look cool on photobucket.

Have you taken a safety course yet? If anyone says it's BS, then they haven't been to one...I was riding on the street since 1984 (dirt racing 12 yrs before that) and in 2003 finally had to go to a MSF course in New Mexico just to be able to ride my bike on to the military base.
I had a blast and even learned to break a few not-so-good habits.

There was a chick that had never ridden on anything but the passenger pillion and she smoked the rest of us in skills. She was smoking hot too with low-rider jeans and a little pink thong peeking out (I bet you know who I picked to ride behind.) She really paid attention and did everything exactly as they instruct.

I never feel that I'm above learning something...once you stop learning, you stop living & leading.

Have fun, post often and keep your knees in the breeze. -Scrubs
