Info needed about South Texas -------

We are headed to South Texas. Port Aransas--Corpus---South Padre----Brownsville---and all locations in between there and the DFW area. I haven't been that far south in a long time. I am looking for places to eat, things to do, places to ride. We have some things lined up but looking for more ideas. Thanks

If you take 77 out of waco to victoria you avoid I35 but not a lot of great places to eat mostly mom and pop with the occasional dairy queen,on the island go to virginia on the beach,good prices great atmosphere its on the dock with a band upstairs on weekends,this is also one of the few beaches you can ride on. If you cross the bridge into corpus the first exit you make is a place called the black diamond,they shuck oysters right in front of you,have fun wish I was going,we go every year in october pretty much got the island to ourselves...
