I've ridden down to Austin from Oklahoma City for the past 2 years for ROT. It's always a good time. We stay downtown, and usually party at Coyote Ugly. It's really hard to beat the "talent" level of the bartenders there.

The GREAT thing about a hotel is the air conditioning and a quiet place to relax.

Been to the rally. Dragged the toy box out there. Along with several friends and their rigs. Took 8 cases of beer and a carton of cigs for a four day event. Drank all the beer, smoked all the cigs. Brought all the food home. Tore the freakin' town down! Stone good time, great music, great people, fantastic bikes, and the usual Austin atmosphere. Came home sunburned, hung over, and used up. Bought the doctor a new set of clubs and the pharmacist a new car. But it was worth it!! Most fun I ever had at a rally! Can't beat it!!! Hope I never return. The recovery time was looooong!
