New Mexico - indy tuners?

Anyone in the Albuquerque/SF NM area - doesn't seem to be many (any?)

I'm wondering if anyone has experience with either Thunderbird HD or Crossroad cycles. I'm gonna bite the bullet and go with a SERT. Now I need to settle on a good tuner. All the horror stories on these boards make me a little wary of just walking into a new shop and plunking down 400-500 bucks for a dyno tune. Any info from someone with experience or rumors would be appreciated.

At this point the nearest recommendation is in AZ but I don't want to ride over there until later in the fall.

My experience with thunderbird H-D has been good. Earlier this year I put on a Terry terminal velocity II. It worked for awhile, then started to have problems. The wife and I were leaving Bernallio and the Bike had started to run poorly. We got a room and that Monday we were at the dealer at 8 am. We talked and told them what was going on. They asked me to take off the Terry part and then they would look at the bike. It is a 07 EG. I did, they took it inside, called one of there tuners in on his day off. Remapped the ecm andwe were on our way. They did this all at no charge. Could have cost us alot. They took care of us witout a hasse. That would not have happened at the stealer here in Farmington......Just my experience.
