Yep, nice time. Lots of bikes, good scenery. They do a good job. I think they're charging admission to cruise The Strand if you're into that. Usually an opportunity to watch the crotch rocket jockeys impress people with crashing their bikes attempting to do wheelies and stoppies. But other than that, it's been a nice way to kill a weekend.

You bet.....it's great.....something like 2.00 to cruise the strand...but there's still plenty of free cruising to be done.....yep watch the crotch rockets!

You will love this one, well worth going. The entire Strand area from 19th to 25th Street will be blocked off for just motorcycles and 1 open lane right up the middle for cruising thru. The Seawall will also be blocked off this year from 19th to 25th and is loaded down with vendors. Last year well over 250,000 bikes attended. My group Blue Knights Chapter 31 out of Galveston will be located at the Moody National Bank parking lot. Last year we fed BBQ to over 300 Blue Knights and local Police Officers working the rally. From what I understand it is a free rally, but they charge $10 for an all-inclusive parking pass for any of the official lots all weekend. I haven't been, have friends that have and they loved it. This year the rally is at 4 sites. The Christian rock band I play in was asked to play at one of the sights for the Sunday morning CMA service, probably out at the Blimp Station where the AMA races will be and where the camping is located. We were flattered to be asked, no doubt. Probably will be the biggest deal we ever play as there is an estimate there may be half a million people at the whole rally for the weekend. If so that will be larger than the ROT rally was this year. I am looking forward to going as I always have liked Galveston and the coast area.
