Heading up to E. TN today and will be there until the 9th. And was wondering if their was anything special happening in the surrounding area.

Looking forward to some cooler weather.

In East TN (Knoxville specifically) on Sept. 6th we have Boomsday...Supposedly the largest fireworks show in the S.E.

I don't know of any rallies or get togethers other than that...Several bars have bike night usually at least one a dya around here...From the Handlebars Magazine...should let you see if anything "big" is happening while you are here...

Take care and ride safe...And DO NOT OVER DRIVE the Dragon!!!

Have ridden the Dragon many times, I drive well within my limits.

I have a place outside Newport TN, can't wait until I can live there the majority of the time, really tired of FL.

We have been hearing of a lot of deaths due to riders over driving it's the only reason I mention it...

Newport is God's Country!!! Enjoy and ride safe!
