Memorial ride for downed biker, LEO, and HOG member, Bill Edge

Monday of this week, a local officer was killed while riding home.

The story I have read is that an ice cream truck failed to successfully negotiate a traffic control device and struck a pickup truck passing through the intersection. The pickup then hit Bill. He later died from resulting injuries.

Bill was a member of my local HOG Chapter in Athens, Ga.
They will be riding to honor him and to support his family on Saturday.

I am leading a group from Covington to Athens to meet up with the HOG chapter, and ride to Lawrenceville for the service.

If you want to ride along..terrific..if not..it's ok, just remember to be safe as you can wherever you are

Memorial for Athens HOG member & Gwinnett Co. LEO - Bill Edge

I will be staging at the Quick Trip in Covington, Ga. 9:30 am - KSU 10:00 am. in order to begin my trip.

We will proceed to Cycle World of Athens where we will attach to the HOG chapter at 11:00am and join their ride to Gwinnett County Sherriff’s Office.
Once there, we will attach to the official memorial ride.

Memorial ride is KSU @ 1300 hrs from GCSO on Hwy 316 in Lawrenceville.
