Smoke Out 10 this year at Rockingham NC
The Smoke Out 10 will be held at Rockingham Dragway NC on May 15 - 16 2009.

thats gonna be a ball. all i can do is look at the flyer over my desk. bikes broke, im broke, yada, yada.
i hear this will be the last year for smokeout in east coast????

Leaving Thursday, this will be my 5 year. I'd believe they were going to cancel the SOW in Arizona before they stop the east coast. Though this year they combined them.
We rode out to the SOW last year. Not as big as the East Coast. Great riding from VA to AZ and back though!

What I have heard, at least next year they are going to combine SOW and SOE again, they are just going to move it back to the summer. This is going to be my 4th year. Meeting the Long Road in Maggie Valley to enjoy the Wheels through time museum then to the Rock. Next year hope to do the Long Road run. Wasn't in the cards this year. Got let go at work so money is real tight right now. At least going to have a long weekend vacation.

I heard rumors today at the Smokeout that they signed an agreement with Rockingham Dragway to hold the event there for the next five years.

I got back from the Smoke Out a few hours ago, had a blast. The mini bike races (flat track style) were hilarious. Watching spiderman, poncho villa and the hula skirt guy race around that track was fun. Lots of wild looking bikes. The campground at night was straight out of Mad Max At The Thunderdome.
