Calling all north Florida riders...

OK all you riders, bikers posers, RUBs and wannabes. Lets set up a long ride soon. We can call it the "Great N.E. Fl. Circle ride" not to be confused with a "circle jerk".

I believe Ratt and I can start this ride on the east coast along with anyone else that wants to join in. I have 4 others who are interested in meeting at the Rooster on US1.

We can take US90 out to Lake city, then south on 41 to 441 to Mt. Dora and then east to the water, then back north to the rooster.

If ya got a small tank, no problem. We will be making a few stops along the way to meet with as many as we can. Have a beer and chips, or some BBQ at lunch time.

If ya wanna meet up along the way we will need a landmark to meet you at. We will give a time "window" of when we will be rolling thru. We will slow down, but not come to a complete stop, so have a full tank of gas, and be ready to ride out aas we pass. We will stop soon after. We just don't want someone thinking we are going to stop and chat then someone not ride along.

The only thing we ask is no colors. Metrics are OK, ADVs aren't, (well maybe). Don't get drunk and ride with us(buzzed riding is drunk driving) NO DRUGS one of the people who is riding is a cop. If you ride ATGATT no problem, we won't laugh (not to your face) If it rains? So? We ride anyway. After all this is Florida.

If you are interested, chime in and then we will try to agree on a day (saturday or sunday) in the next month.

I probably should check this forum more often, huh? When are you thinking about doing this? I'm assuming May, since you said next month. Sounds good to me, as long as I can find another outer primary cover. I'm in the middle of building a work truck, fixing the scoot, and starting a business.....oh and takin care of the off-spring. But I can make it, if I can find the primary.....

We can do it again. I had seven people with me this past Sat. for a ride to Leesburg, but we didn't go thru Lake city.
We pretty much went on the flat top to near Orlando and went north to Mt. Dora then to Leesburg.

It was just a quick trip to the bikefest as several of us had prior appointments that evening.

Quick isn't really the word for it. We only saw one cop and that was on I-4. Mostly we did 85-90 on the Xway.

The funny thing is, one guy was on an ultra couldn't beleive I was leading that fast. Several times he asked me what I did to the engine, or if I was afraid it'd blow on me. Only a dyna was beside me most of the way, he knew what a sporty was capable of.
One time the ultra tried to pass me. as he went by, I gunned it and caught up to him. We held it till almost 120 before he slowed down. His eyes were pretty big when he looked at me

Anyway Ratt. Lets get together soon for a couple hundred...or maybe a short 50. Doesn't matter.

Some people just don't get a sporty.... why did they name it that since, I don't know......1957! Clowns. I have been busy ever weekend forever now. Last Saturday was my brothers wedding, and this weekend I might be going to south Florida if I can find my outer primary cover. Still have to get on that job. I feel like a one legged man in an ass kickin contest right now...... Soon as I get the primary straightened out, I'll come up there, atleast to have a beer and hang out. I hope the ride to Leesburg was good, I didn't even know anything was going on. I probably should pay more attention. Any rate, talk at ya later..
