That time of year is just hit and miss. Have your rain gear with you. We rode it in June last year and got rain almost all the way. Dont let it stop you though, it was the last leg of a 12 day trip and it was the only rain we encountered. Temp should be just right.

bamafan, i havnt ran it in years, is part of it still dirt? tis beautiful, fun and probably wet in may. but being native to louisiana, a little rain just makes it jst right!

Asphalt all the way! Very relaxing ride, set cruise on 50mph and relax!
