Question Good rides around Port Charlotte Fla. area?

Will be in the area for a week and have access to a 2000 EG and am looking for some good rides in the area. Can't wait to get some warm weather and some hotwings at Gatorz!

Are you look'n to get way or just up and down the coast. Gets pretty business quick on the coast . North of you is Venice and is still a nice area and had a good bike culture and seems like monthly swap meets if timeing is right. You can run down to Boca grande area or /and ride down to ft.myres and work your way to ft.myres beach and sanibel/captiva island and lovers key. If just look'n for go ride'n head inland from any where along your area. Some of the towns have grown but still many low traffic country roads. Ride over to Lake okeechobee, Clewisto and Rowland martins Marinia ,good chicky bar on the river out back. Ride down to everglades city and get a airboat ride. If your look'n for bike stuff try to search a abate group in that area and ask them about going on's and rides. If the oll lady is go'n hit the beach's at sunset. I grew up in naples but been 10 years. Look at the area maps and all the roads inland, most are farm or livestock and just not heavly developed so about anywhere is a good ride all the way arcross to the out skirts of the east coast. you can do a sunup ,sundown ride. If i can find a info site for the area i will get back.

Try these and see if they help
motorcyclemonster.com for events
motorcycle.meetup.com has the Sun Coast Riders site
members.tripod.com/scrcsuncoastcruisers this is the Southern Cruisers Ft.Myres chapter site (Sun Coast Chapter) good group here. This was quick but should help. I don't type in many .com adresses ,mainly search them so i may have some made some misstakes.
