Just moved to Mooresville, NC a few years ago and dont' know any riders around here. How many if any from the Charlotte, Mooresville, Statesville, etc...area willing to get together an have a Saturday ride every now and then?? Ridin' solo blows! Well it doesn't blow, just don't like it all the time...

Join the local southern cruisers chapter, check for a web site near you, and join the cba chapter. Both of these groups ride every weekend.

I submitted an app....thank for the info. But on the same page, 31 views and no replies besides yours on the subject or anything is pretty disappointing.

Around where i live not many riders even know about these forums. Have you found (carolinamcevents.com) That site covers most of what happens in the state with many links too. I have road by myself for most of the last 11 years . Had a ride'n buddy or two but don't care if alone or not. I came up here from florida and road with 2 other guys and my wife. Even if you want a group deal it can be hard to find people of the same mindset, rideing style and interest other than bikes so don't fret. Just find a meeting site of groups ,ask at the local indy shops where guys meet or just show up at a Southern Cruisers meeting and see how it goes. There is more sh*t to do over there with in a hours ride then about anywhere. Start pick'n up US Riders News at the hd store and some indy shops ,Full Throttle mag at hd shop and things that miss the web site show there. Plan now to go to Smoke Out !0 at Rockingham drag strip in june i think ,check the web site for smoke out. Best dam bike get to gether of any. Ride for you no one easle really matters.

Yeah I found the mcevents site....besides EasyRiders next weekend, looks like things start to pick up pretty heavy in March. Had a Full Throttle bar across the street only had the oppertunity to go there a couple times (burnt down after being open just a couple months). Thanks for all the info.

I'm a couple of hours from Lake Norman ... down in the Columbia SC area.

I know of a few guys up in that area .... we need to find a way for yall to hook up !!

I get up there a few times a year ..

Sounds good....bike is undergoing improvements right now, should be operational in 3 or 4 weeks.

If everything goes well, I am moving down this summer. I am considering Lake Norman as well as South Park area. I'll also be looking for some new riding buddies so keep me posted on what happens?

LWG- Check out WWW.greatsmokeymountains.com - they have a rally coming up in May that should get in touch with a bunch of riders from your area. Maybe we'll see ya there.

We have a gathering going on Mothers Day weekend up there bunch of folks from the forum here are going to be there...

There will be a hotspring event in late june fri, sat, sun,that is as good as cherokee but with much less people and camping at the event, All the good bike stuff and bands and games, beer can be bought at the check in office/store. always a good time. It is put on bu the Blueridge C.B.A. chapter as a fundraiser and cops have been good. This has been going on some years now and runs real smooth. Miss one of the others to make this one. The magg/hog thang sucks anyhow. Maggyvalley only wants easy money with no real return.

I just moved down to Matthews from Moorsville, Work uptown and the commute was killing me. I'm always up for a Saturday ride. We have a route we do on Saturdays or Sundays, Takes us into SC, GA, TN, NC back to charlotte, Nice day trip. PM me when you get a chance.
